Tech Lead

OVERVIEW
You will be responsible for internet/intranet design and development for the many business units in the company. Your code will be front stage, whether it is class library, a webservice, an ASPX page, or a middle tier framework. We design well, code smart and use the best tools.

Responsibilities include:
· Supervise Staff
· Conduct Design Reviews
· Act as Engineering Lead for iterations
· Assist the Director of Software Engineering in evaluating vendor systems
· Conduct application architecture review
· Define and propose hardware and software requirements for servers, development workstations, and other team gear
· Define and document Team processes and ensure that the processes are being followed.
· Meet with members of the team to define architecture
· The Team Lead should also play a key role in “hands-on” development in C#, ASP.Net, ADO.net and SQL Server 2000
· Assist in the build-out of the company’s development environments

Experience with the 3-tiered web-based architectures, and the .NET runtime environment and framework is expected. Strong object oriented analysis and design skills are expected, as are strong data modeling and SQL coding skills. Competency in Windows OS environment is required. Must be familiar with agile development processes and be committed to thorough unit-testing and integration testing. Commitment to taking ownership, initiatives and documenting both design and code is sought. Strong written and verbal communications skills a must.
